Can I receive specialty or previously "limited distribution" medications from Yolanda's Medical Pharmacy?
Yes, in many cases.
Historically, some specialty medications were available only through designated pharmacies selected by the manufacturer. This often limited patient choice and required individuals to transfer their prescriptions away from their regular community pharmacy.
Today, many independent pharmacies participating in the Pharmacists Prescribing Network (PPN) can access an expanding number of these specialty medications, allowing more patients to receive their treatment from the pharmacy they know and trust.
